The 2026 Honour Roll of the Melbourne Aesthetic Medicine Institute.

Recipients are identified through independent review of clinical standards, professional conduct, peer standing and continuing education. There is no entry form and no fee. Each award is numbered, delivered in person, and can be verified publicly.

The Standard

How a practitioner comes to hold this award

Recognition begins without the practitioner’s knowledge and ends with a plaque at their door.

I

Observation

Practitioners come to the Institute’s attention through teaching, publication, peer reference and standing within the profession — never through submission.

II

Independent review

Registration, qualifications, scope of practice, continuing education and regulatory standing are examined against the Institute’s published baseline.

III

Peer corroboration

Standing is corroborated across independent sources, including colleagues working in the same discipline and region.

IV

Conferral in person

A limited number is granted each year. The award is presented at the recipient’s clinic, carries a unique number, and takes its place on this Honour Roll.

The award cannot be purchased, applied for, sponsored or transferred.

That is the point of it. There is one way to hold it — to be the practitioner the profession already points to.

Baseline eligibility

What is examined

RegistrationCurrent registration or licensure in the practitioner’s jurisdiction, practising within recognised scope.
QualificationMedical, surgical, dental or specialist qualifications appropriate to the discipline held.
ExperienceOrdinarily seven or more years of clinical experience and an active practice.
EducationDocumented professional development, teaching, research or contribution to the field.
ConductNo significant recent regulatory or disciplinary findings at the time of review.
StandingRecognition of the practitioner’s work by peers within their discipline and region.
“Chosen by their own profession, quietly, and told afterwards.”

Every recipient holds a numbered award. A patient, a colleague or a journalist can confirm a 2026 recognition against that number.

The Institute does not accept applications and keeps no waiting list. Practitioners who wish to be known to the Institute are welcome through its education programmes, faculty and published work.
